Chief Olu Falae, GCON, CFR

National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party

Chief Olu Falae, GCON, CFR was born to the family of Joshua and Abigail Falae. His father was originally from Akure but due to opportunities in cocoa farming, Falae's family and a few other Akure natives moved to a nearby location called Ago-Abo where they settled as pioneers.[3] Falae's father was later made the head of Ago-Abo village. Falae attended an Anglican primary school in Akure where he met his future wife, Rachael Fashoranti.[4] After primary education, he sat for the entrance exam into Igbobi College and was accepted in 1953, after graduating, he went on to complete his Higher School Certificate at Government College, Ibadan in 1958. Thereafter, he was a tutor at Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure. He attended the University of Ibadan for his undergraduate studies before pursuing a graduate program at Yale University in the United States. At the University of Ibadan, he represented his hall of residency in the Students Representative Council and was editorial board member of the student run campus magazine.

Alhaji Hussain Saleh Dass

National Secretary of SDP

Alhaji Hussain Saleh Dass, the Dallatu Dass is from Dass Local Government Area in Bauchi State. He was a former Director General in the Bauchi State Ministry of Education and later became a Honourable Commissioner in the State. He was also a former State Chairman of SDP in Bauchi State prior to becoming the National Secretary of the Party.

Engr Simon Adewole Adeshina

Deputy National Secretary of SDP

Engr Simon Adewole Adeshina (HD.; M.Sc mnse) is a foundation member of the SDP. He was formerly a pioneer Engineer with the Fed Capital Dev. Authority Abuja. 1980 to 1986.. served as Chief Resident Engineer, Water and Sewage, later a lectural in Structural Engineering and Soil Engineering at the now Technical University Kaduna 1986 to 1987. He later joined the NACB as Manager Projects and later Branch Manager 1987 to 1991. He was called upon to resign his appointment to contest the FCT Mayoral election...and negotiated later as the Deputy Mayor candidate under the former SDP 1992. On annulment of the election by the administration of IBB. He went into private business running his own construction company....CIVAGEES Nigeria Ltd based in Abuja and engaged in the property business and development in Abuja. He was later appointed coordinator of MKO campaign structure in the FCT and also overseeing neighbouring States in 1993. In 1999 he served as FCT Special Assistant to AD presidential candidate....Chief Olu Falae ,GCON, CFR. He was later appointed The Chief Liaison Officer of AD to all the Northern States by the Amb. Mamma led AD in year 2000 to 2003. He was the FCT Chairman of DPA from 2006 to 2010. He contested the Senatorial seat of Oyo North in 2011 but lost under the banner of SDMP. He also served as the National Director of Administration of the SDMP from 2010 until the party changed it name to SDP in 2013. He was elected National Deputy Secretary of the SDP in 2016 and continues to combine the office of National Director of Administration of the SDP. He has attended many seminars and workshops in Engineering professionally and also politically such as Alternative Dispute Resolution, ADR mechanism, party organization at NIPPS kuru etc. He is widely travelled and happily married with Children and blessed with several Grand children.

Rt. Hon. Kehinde Olatunji AYOOLA.

National Financial Secretary of SDP

Rt. Hon Kehinde Ayoola JP, is a product of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife where he bagged a B.Agric. (Animal Science) and M.Sc. in Environmental Management and Control (Soil Health). He was elected into the Oyo State House of Assembly in 1999 and became the Speaker of the House in June of that year. In 2004, he was appointed a Consultant to the Oyo State Poultry Villages Project. Later in 2005, he was appointed into the Governing Board of the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba, Lagos and in 2006, he became a Commissioner in the Judicial Service Commission of Oyo State representing Public Interest. In 2014, he joined the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Oyo State as part of the Omi Tuntun structure of Engr Seyi Makinde, the SDP Gubernatorial candidate in the 2015 elections. In March 2016, he was elected as the National Financial Secretary of the party by the National Congress at Abuja. He is the Chairman of two companies: Aurum Natural Resources Ltd Ibadan that provides solutions in the Animal Production sub-sector and Friendsphere Agro-Environmental Ltd, Ibadan that deals with environmental issues and impact assessments. Rt. Hon Kehinde Ayoola JP is the holder of the honorary chieftaincy title of Bobajiro of Ilara Epe , Lagos State. He is married to Olukemi, a Professor of Agronomy at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife and they are blessed with children.


National Organising Secretary of SDP

Hon. OLUKAYODE OYEWUMI OYEDEJI is the National Organising Secretary of SDP. He is from Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State. He has a B Sc Hons, in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile ife; M A in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ibadan and Ph D in view in Peace and Strategic Studies, University of Ibadan. He has been actively involved in partisan politics for over three decades. He loves reading and appreciate meeting people. He is married and blessed with Children to the glory of God.

Alhaji Alfa Mohammed

National Publicity Secretary of SDP

Alhaji Alfa Mohammed is the National Publicity Secretary of SDP. He is a veteran politician from Niger State. He hold multiple University degrees in Political Science, Law and Management Studies.

Maggie Mariam Batubo

National Women Leader of SDP

Maggie Mariam Batubo is the National Women Leader of the Social Democratic Party of Nigeria. She is from Buguma in Rivers State. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc. Hon) in Sociology from the University of Port Harcourt. She has been engaged as a professional caterer, running the “3 Meals Catering Company,” a vibrant catering service business for about three decades now, having honed her skills at the Delta Hotels Catering School in Port Harcourt. In 2003, she ventured into politics, joining the Movement for the Restoration and Defence of Democracy (MRDD). Her contributions in this movement propelled her to the position of the Rivers State Women Leader. Her skills at social mobilization have stood her in good stead in her political activities. Maggie Batubo was a founding member of the Niger Delta People’s Salvation Front (NDPSF), leading the Rivers State front until 2006, when she went on to join the Democratic People’s Party (DPP) of Nigeria, again rising to the position of State Women Leader. Contributing to the efforts to forge the Social Democratic Mega Party in 2011, she emerged as the current National Women Leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Nigeria, a position which she has held since 2013, and in which she is exhibiting remarkable performance.
